A LinkedIn exchange is common when attending network events. Equally common is the clumsy messy dance with how you can add each other. Fortunately we have the solution: the ultimate way to add LinkedIn contacts.
You no longer have to spell names with non-typical spelling in the hope of finding them. No more "here is my phone, just add your info" nonsense. All you have to do is scan their QR code to immediately find the right person on LinkedIn.
Step 1: Download the Linkedin app
First you need the LinkedIn app if you do not have it yet. It is a free app with a rating of more than 4.2 stars and you can install it via the link below.
Open the LinkedIn app and log in. Turn on the camera permission. In the search bar at the top, tap the mini QR code icon on the right. Your QR code reader appears, ready to scan someone else's QR code. Your new network partner must tap the same icon in their LinkedIn app and then tap "My Code" to show you their QR code. Point the viewfinder of your camera at their QR code, then you will be taken to their page and you can tap the "Connect" button to add them.
Alternatively, you can have someone scan your QR code. The process is very similar, only vice versa. So tap the QR code icon on the right side of the search bar at the top of the screen. At the top of the next screen you will see a button with the text & # 39; My code & # 39 ;. Tap this and your code will appear. All they have to do is tap the QR icon in the search bar of their app and scan the code on your screen to find your profile.
