Motorola may have fallen off your radar, but the Moto G line is a worldwide success. With more than 1
The Moto G Stylus contains a … Stylus
Motorola may not compete with these handsets on the premium market, but the company has that not to include the latest smartphone trends. As you can see from the images above, the Moto G Stylus consists of an almost borderless 6.4-inch FHD + screen, dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby, with a 16MP perforator camera on the front.
Under the hood, the Moto G Stylus runs on Android 10 powered by a Snapdragon 665 CPU, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB built-in storage (with room for an additional 512 GB via microSD card). The handset has a 3.5 mm headphone jack, 10 W fast charging via USB-C and a battery of 4000 mAh for a usage period of two days.
Of course, the stylus is the center of the handset as it appears in the name of the handset. Once you pop the accessory out of the bottom of the phone, you can use it to take notes, edit photos, and communicate with the operating system. A brand new Moto Notes app is launched with the Moto G Stylus that lets you write a note anywhere, including the device's lock screen.
The back of the phone hosts a 48MP f / 1.7 primary camera, 2MP f / 2.2 macro sensor, and 16MP f / 2.2 "Action Cam" with a 117-degree ultra-wide-angle lens. Motorola states that it can use the primary sensor and "Quad Pixel" technology to capture 12MP images that are sharp and vivid, regardless of lighting conditions. Like the Motorola One Action, the action camera of the Moto G Stylus captures landscape videos even when held in portrait.
One thing to note with both new Motorola phones is the fact that neither of these handsets contains wireless charging or NFC. This means that you can only use a wired USB-C charger and that you cannot use Google Pay to make payments.
The Moto G Stylus is available this spring for $ 299.99 in Mystic Indigo. US customers can pick up the device at Best Buy, B&H Photo, Walmart and Amazon. Carriers such as Verizon, Metro by T-Mobile and Republic Wireless start selling the smartphone shortly thereafter. Canadian users can purchase the device at Videotron.
The Moto G Power Packs a 5,000 mAh battery
The Moto G Power is almost identical to the Moto G stylus, but it contains something lower specifications, no built-in stylus, cameras of lesser quality and a larger battery. Motorola claims that the phone's 5,000 mAh battery contains enough juice to use the handset for three whole days.
The screen is the same 6.4-inch FHD + screen with a 16MP perforator on the front. The internal parts of the Moto G Power are almost indistinguishable from the Moto G Stylus because it is powered by the Snapdragon 665 and 4 GB RAM. The main difference is the 64 GB built-in storage, although that can still be added to the use of a microSD card.
All around, the phone contains a 16MP f / 1.7 primary camera, 2MP f / 2.2 macro lens, and an 8MP f / 2.2 118-degree ultra-wide sensor. And again, the Moto G Power does not include wireless charging or NFC.
The Moto G Power is also unlocked in the US through Best Buy, B&H Photo, Walmart and Amazon for $ 249.99 in Smoke Black. Verizon, U.S. Cellular, Consumer Cellular, Republic Wireless and Xfinity Mobile will sell the handset at a later date. Canadian customers can pick up the phone at Videotron and at all Freedom Mobile points of sale.
