Looking for a new doorbell? You are lucky. TP-Link just announced a brand new smart doorbell and one handful of other gadgets to further develop the impressive range of smart home devices. The Kasa Smart Doorbell records 1
The doorbell has a sleek, stylish and unobtrusive design that resembles the Nest Hello Doorbell. The camera is located on the top of the elongated gadget and the pushable doorbell button on the bottom. TP-Link has not yet shared pricing information or a release date for the Smart Doorbell, but says it will be available sometime this year.
TP-Link also announced a few others smart home devices, in addition to some product updates. The most notable additions include a new outdoor camera that can record continuously at 2K, has a Starlight sensor to record night video in color and, like the Smart Doorbell, can record in the cloud or locally on a microSD card. Later this year, two more dimming options are also expected and a new smart outdoor plug with one socket.
The Kasa Spot Pan Tilt camera is set to receive an update to record video in 2K. And TP-Link has also announced some new routers, including some that support Wi-Fi 6E.
