If you are using the Twitter app on iPhone or Android and you are tired of hearing nice sound effects when you do certain tasks (like refreshing your feed), you can easily turn off those sound effects. Here’s how to do it.
First, open the Twitter app on your device. Then tap the hamburger icon (on iPhone) or your profile picture (on Android) in the top left corner of the screen.
Select ‘Settings and privacy’ from the menu that appears.
In ‘Settings and privacy’, scroll down to the ‘General’ section. Tap Display & Sound.
In “Picture and sound”, find the setting “Sound effects” and turn it off (on iPhone) or remove the check mark (on Android).
Then go back twice to exit Settings. Sound effects are now disabled. Finally peace!
