The new tool adds a button in the upper right corner of threads. If you click on it, you will receive a message when the additional tweet is added to the thread. Because you do not need "heart" or comment on a thread to receive updates, this can give some anonymity. There is no indication as to whether or when Twitter will distribute the change platform throughout.
Earlier this week, the company released its experimental beta test game, Twttr, which allows early adoption of new Twitter features. First, the thread gives a chat-like appearance with color coding and retraction. At the beginning of the month, the company confirmed that it works a way to hide unwanted responses a lot (this was also discovered by Wong). In February, we learned that the company is testing a way to preview user profiles without leaving your timeline. It also tests a label with "original tweets", which shows which account started a thread, and added a chronological timeline button on Android. Finally, Twitter on SXSW revealed a new camera for the app, making it easier to share photos and videos.
The "subscribe to conversation" button is clearly part of a larger trend. Twitter's fast confirmation is in line with what Sara Haider, Product Manager said earlier this year ̵
