Use PayPal for touchless purchases in stores. Here’s how

In the midst of last year’s pandemic, PayPal added the ability to use the mobile payment app make touch-free purchases in shops with QR codes. All you need to do is scan the code, from a printout or on a screen, with your phone’s camera – no cards, cash, or signatures required.

The app works in two ways: you can scan the QR codes of items to pay via the app. Or stores like CVS and Walmart can scan your app’s QR code under Show to Pay to buy things in-store as well.
