When you visit a link on Instagram, it is often launched in the app̵
Open the Instagram app on your iPhone or Android device and go to your profile by tapping your screenshot in the lower right corner.
Tap the three-line menu icon in the top right corner and select ‘Your Activity’.
Under the “Links” tab you will find every link you’ve ever clicked on Instagram in reverse chronological order. You can tap on a webpage to visit it again.
To hide a link from the ‘Your activity’ section, long press it and select ‘Hide’.
Note: Hiding the link will not delete the information from the link and it will not delete your history from Instagram servers. It will hide it from your profile only. Facebook can continue to use it to personalize your ads on its group of social apps.
At the top there is an option “Hide history”. Selecting this will hide your entire history of links on the “Your Activity” page. While this action is irreversible, you can still browse all of these links by downloading a copy of your Instagram data.
Also, keep in mind that the “Hide History” button will not prevent web pages you visit on Instagram in the future from appearing on the “Your Activity” page.
What you can delete is the cache stored in the built-in browser of the Instagram app on Android. To do this, tap that three-line menu again, and this time tap ‘Settings’.
From there, go to Account> Browser Settings.
Touch the blue “Clear” button next to “Browsing data” to clear the cookies and cache generated from all the web pages you viewed on Instagram.
