I always use the personal hotspot of my iPhone. Whether I need a connection on the train, in a coffee shop without WiFi or when my friends have no service, my personal hotspot is a lifesaver. But all that data comes from somewhere somewhere of course, that that is somewhere your mobile plan. Fortunately, you can see how much data your hotspot has used, and who or what has used more of it.
Before you view the data usage of your hotspot, you must ensure that your iPhone is updated to iOS 13, because then the hotspot logger appeared for the first time. If you want to check data usage now, go to & # 39; Mobile & # 39; in the Settings app and scroll down to & # 39; Personal hotspot & # 39; can be found under Mobile data . You can see the total amount of data used at your hotspot in the bar (3.4 GB in the screenshot below). Tap on it to see a list of connected devices and the data they have used. Unknown connections are recorded as "Other devices."
You can also reset all data at any time by going to Scroll the bottom of the "Mobile" settings page, tap "Reset statistics" and then confirm the request on the action sheet. Hotspot data usage is recorded until you reset it, so it is not based on a daily or monthly timeframe.
