7;s ever a reason the robots overthrew their human masters, it’s time we let them perform as a show chorus. The folks at Boston Dynamics are at it again, and this time, instead of parkour or torture, it’s a combination of the two – dancing. The technical group put on a video showing a choreographed dance routine Do you love me from The Contours. Yes, you have to look at it.

The video itself is quite impressive. It uses all the famous Boston Dynamic robots from the parkour-friendly Atlas to the Spot robot dog that you can adopt for a cool $ 75,000. Even the Handle robot, the box juggler of the bunch, makes its appearance. That last sentence only provides more evidence that the robots will one day revolt.

The most impressive part of the video is how smoothly the robots dance. They move through intricate footwork and handwork and do it in perfect sync. The Atlas bots even balance on one foot while lifting the other head high. Nothing here isn’t something a high school show choir couldn’t do, but the fact that robots do it is pretty spectacular.

Even Spot pulls off some pretty shimmies, thanks in part to its terrifying tentacle head. Look, we’re not saying Boston Dynamics doesn’t do cool things. But when that viral CGI video from The Corridor Crew becomes reality, we’re ready to say, “I told you so.”
