Millions of gamers have tried onefor three long months now, waiting for inventory to come online. Microsoft’s disappointing November 10 rollout is now a faint memory, but most people are no closer to owning a version than it was before the launch. Microsoft’s next generation of game consoles – the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S – sell out in minutes, every time a stock drop has occurred at a major retailer. In part, this is clearly due to insatiable consumer demand. But there is little doubt that it has a lot to do with it too can easily beat the average consumer on the checkout page. Unfortunately, don̵
Twitter remains a useful resource for many gamers checking the news of restocking, but even if the leads are credible, there is rarely more than a few minutes of warning and the stock will sell out in minutes. Still, better times are coming – just not this week.
Our advice is to look for the retail price of $ 500 and avoid those expensive shopping bundles, which include external controllers, accessories and games. Even better, if you don’t have a 4K TV and don’t expect to get one anytime soon, try theinstead to save $ 200.
Currently, there is no inventory to be found anywhere, but we’ll keep an eye on Twitter and other news sources, and we’ll keep you updated on what retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop, and Target are planning. What follows is a list of the most important retailers selling the Xbox Series X.
Xbox Series X: Check the stock replenishment
Best Buy was the last retailer to withdraw in the pre-order days, but is now ready for your Xbox Series X purchase if stock permits.
Amazon sells the Xbox Series X and the cheaper Series S from the same product page.
GameStop had hailed “a very limited number of Xbox Series X and S console bundles for sale,” but they are currently out of print.
Walmart does a good job of listing availability windows for PS5 and Xbox on its Twitter feed You may also want to visit the store’s Xbox landing page for both new consoles.
If you want the latest Xbox Series X news, there’s probably nowhere better than Microsoft’s own Xbox Series X homepage. Here you will find the latest specifications, announced game titles, details about the new controller and more.
This is Target’s product page for the Xbox Series X.
Here you can buy the Xbox Series X from Newegg if the retailer has stock.
Are you getting desperate yet? Are you willing to pay a premium of hundreds of dollars over the list price? Listen, we wouldn’t do this and we don’t recommend that you do it. But if you want to go down that path, StockX is a reputable eBay-style site that lets you buy and sell new Xbox and PS5 models – as long as you’re willing to shell out over $ 600.
To be clear, we highly recommend that you wait for stock to appear at regular retailers so that you can purchase an Xbox Series X at its regular retail price. But if you’ve decided that you just can’t wait another moment, the average price of the Xbox Series X on eBay is around $ 800.
