Although it has been months since Microsoft released the newand Series S, the demand is still much greater than the supply. If you’re one of the unfortunate many who are still waiting to get your hands on a new console, then you know how it works: you log in exactly when a stock loss occurs at a major retailer like Best Buy, GameStop, Target or Walmart . You click maniacally. You add the system to your cart – only to get the dreaded “sold out”
But do not worry! Fortunately, there are ways to increase your chances of scoring an Xbox Series X. Check the store inventory links yourself, daily or even multiple times a day – don’t wait to hear an update on a drop in Xbox inventory. (We’ve listed them all below.) If you happen to come across an available Xbox, it’s time to jump on it. Use web browsers and devices as much as possible. For example, on a desktop you could open the store page in Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Then you can do the same on your phone and tablet. It’s just like with: The more you have, the better your chances of winning.
Twitter remains a useful resource for many gamers checking the news of restocking, but even if the leads are credible, there is rarely more than a few minutes of warning and stock will sell out in minutes. Still, better times are coming.
One tip: look for the $ 500 retail price and avoid those expensive shopping bundles, which include external controllers, accessories and games. Even better, if you don’tand don’t expect to get one anytime soon, download it instead and save $ 200.
Currently, there’s no inventory anywhere, but we’ll keep an eye on Twitter and other news sources, and we’ll keep you updated on what retailers like Best Buy, Walmart, Amazon, GameStop, and Target are planning. What follows is a list of the most important retailers selling the Xbox Series X.
Xbox Series X: Check the stock replenishment
Best Buy was the last retailer to recoil in the pre-order days, but is now ready for your Xbox Series X purchase, as far as stock permits.
Amazon sells the Xbox Series X and the cheaper Series S from the same product page.
GameStop had announced a “very limited number of Xbox Series X and S console bundles for sale,” but they are currently sold out.
Walmart does a good job of listing availability windows for PS5 and Xbox on its Twitter feed You may also want to visit the store’s Xbox landing page for both new consoles.
If you want the latest Xbox Series X news, there’s probably nowhere better than Microsoft’s own Xbox Series X homepage. Here you will find the latest specifications, announced game titles, details about the new controller and more.
This is Target’s product page for the Xbox Series X.
Here you can buy the Xbox Series X from Newegg if the retailer has stock.
Are you getting desperate yet? Are you willing to pay a premium of hundreds of dollars over the list price? Listen, we wouldn’t do this and we don’t recommend that you do it. But if you want to go that path, StockX is a reputable eBay-style site that lets you buy and sell new Xbox and PS5 models – as long as you’re willing to shell out over $ 650.
To be clear, we highly recommend that you wait for stock to appear at regular retailers so that you can purchase an Xbox Series X at its regular retail price. But if you’ve decided you just can’t wait another moment, the average price of the Xbox Series X on eBay is about $ 800.
