Ever since Xiaomi launched Mi Band 2, the company has been consistent in updating its budget fitness tracker every year and 2019 will be  The Chinese smartphone giant has announced that Mi Band 4, the successor to last year's Mi Band 3 will be launched later this year in the quarterly income statement.
According to a report by XDADevelopers David Chui, Chief Financial Officer of Huami, was asked if Mi Band 4 was scheduled for a release from March or April. His response revealed that while it is unlikely to see the new fitness tracker in the next few weeks, Xiaomi planned to release his updated band in 2019.
While Cui obviously did not go into details, he confirmed that every generation of the popular fitness tracker have introduced something new and that things would be the same with Mi Band 4.
According to transcription of the answer by Chui of The Motley Fool "Every generation we learn something, we do Always better. And Mi Band 3 lets you watch the 2018 volume, right. So it's really much better than the previous version. So we expect Mi Band 4 to look like – will have a similar trend. Mi Band 4, we expect the product will sell well, says Huami CFO.
We loved Mi Band 3 when we reviewed it and it is still one of the most popular budget fitness We would definitely expect Xiaomi to add more features to the tracker this year.
