It's hard enough to keep track of all your favorite shows when you get home, but add trips to the mix and it's easy to fall behind. Or maybe you want to share the fun in a friend's house. Anyway ̵
Your YouTube TV subscription ($ 50 per month) includes a cloud DVR with unlimited storage that you can access in the US. This means it is available everywhere, from the airport to your great aunt's house in the mountains – as long as you have a mobile signal or WiFi. It also includes channels such as The CW, TBS, Disney, Cartoon Network, ESPN, local channels and more.
You can stream shows on TV's with apps built for streaming sticks such as Roku, Apple TV ($ 169 at Walmart) and Fire TV. You can also watch on an Xbox One, Android TV, via a Google Chromecast ($ 55 on eBay) and more. And if you download a program on one device, it is available on all your devices. Here's how you can stay connected to your favorite shows while on the move.
Take your streaming stick with you
On the way to the house of a family member who does not have a cable subscription? As long as they have a TV with apps for Roku, Apple TV, Fire TV or something similar, you can watch YouTube TV. Simply take your streaming stick with you and connect it to the TV via the HDMI port (usually on the side or back of the TV).
Once connected, use your streaming stick as usual by pressing the Home button on your streaming remote to go to the home screen – apps are visible from here. Then select the YouTube TV app and since everything is already stored on your streaming stick, you don't have to log in again.
Use the YouTube TV app on a smart TV
If the hotel or house of a family member where you are staying has a smart TV, you can catch up on your favorite TV shows. If they don't have the YouTube TV app, you have to download it – the process may vary depending on the type of smart TV they own, but usually you can search for the app and select the download icon. After the app is installed, you must sign in with the Google account that you used to sign up.

Cast your show to a TV
Whether you use an Android, iPhone ($ 870 with Walmart) or computer, you can cast from that device to a supported TV. The Cast icon looks like a box with a WiFi signal in the lower left corner. Note: if you use an iPhone or Mac, use AirPlay instead of Chromecast to play your selection.

2. Open the YouTube TV app on your phone.
3. Tap the icon Cast at the top right of the home screen.
4. Select the device to which you want to cast.
5. Select the show or movie that you want to watch.
6. Tap Play .
On a computer
1. Make sure your computer is connected to the same WiFi network as Chromecast.
2. Go to tv.youtube.com in your preferred browser.

4. As soon as the video is opened, click on the icon Cast . If you are using a Mac, select the AirPlay button in the menu bar of your Mac.
Watch your movie or program from your phone, computer or tablet
When you are somewhere without a TV, such as in a car or during your lunch break at work, you can stream YouTube TV from your phone, computer or tablet.
If you use a computer, go to tv.youtube.com and log in. If you use a phone or tablet, open the YouTube TV app to start streaming. Please note that you must be connected to WiFi or use mobile data to use the YouTube TV app.
