Everyone loves AirPods, right? Well, maybe anyone whose ears fit AirPods. That was the problem with the first two generations – one size does not fit all. But the new AirPods Pro comes with three rubber earbuds of different sizes. Although you can experiment yourself to find out which one fits best, Apple programmed your AirPods Pro to make that decision yourself.
How does this work? According to Apple, "advanced algorithms", together with the microphones in both AirPods Pro, analyze how sound behaves in each ear with current rubber tips. The results of that test determine whether iOS thinks that one or both earbuds fit properly, or that one or both need to be changed. It's a handy feature that currently seems unique to AirPods Pro.
Make sure your AirPods Pro is connected to your iPhone with iOS 1
If there is one or both rubber earbuds are the wrong size, you will see that reflected in this message in yellow: "Apply a try another ear-tip or try it. "
If one or both rubber earbuds match, you will see that reflected in a green message: "Good Seal."
That's all! Go through the test until you receive this green message for both the left and right AirPods Pro. Don't worry if you use one ear-tip for the left AirPod and another for the right – it's all about what works best for you.
